I was walking down the hallway with Trina, my large hand holding hers. We were chatting as we usually did--nothing special, nothing serious, just talking. The way two people like us could talk without it getting awkward, or stupid, or without those long silences. We weren't like other couples who needed to say the right thing, or didn't want to sound stupid. We were just two friends in love. And that's how I loved it to be.

I suddenly looked up from Katrina when I saw a few people standing in our way. Right in front was one of the most annoying people I'd ever met. Justin Shepherd. He was Katrina's ex boyfriend, and I right pain in my ass. He was obnoxious and rude, and not only had he pressured Katrina for sex, but he'd HURT her. Physically. That just didn't sit well with me...

"What do you want, Shepherd?" I muttered, knowing he wasn't planning to get out of our way.

Justin glared and glanced at me with a smirk before turning to Seth. “Oh nothing that concerns you.” He said rudely. He hated Seth, a lot. “Hey Katrina, I want to talk to you for a second.” He said giving her a creepy look. I moved a little closer to Seth, not liking the look he was giving him. I could have sworn I heard Seth growl.

I could feel Katrina move closer toward me and I moved my hand to put it around her waist protectively. I glared at him, hating the look he was giving her. If he was thinking he had any chance of hurting her, he was wrong. "Yeah, well maybe she doesn't want to talk to you." I said for Trina.

Justin smirked. "OH so he speaks for you now Katrina? You have no say?" He laughed cruelly. My eyes narrowed pissed off. I looked at Seth before turning to him. I sighed loudly and stalked over to him, dragging him over to a corner by the end of the lockers.

"I'll be right back Seth," I said second before that. "WHAT Justin?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him and glaring. Seth didn't seem to be to happy about me walking off with him. He growled lowly and hovered near by. He was really being to paranoid now.

Justin smirked. "Rough now? I like it." He leaned in closer to me. "Anyways, Trina, so howya doing?"

I sighed as Justin pulled her away and crossed my arms, looking away from them. Instead I focussed my eyes on his friends who were smirking evilly at me. I glared back. PURE. GLARE.

I raised an eyebrow. "So, you called me all the way here just to talk randomly." I asked annoyed. He smirked and pulled me along the hallway.

"Nah, I wanted to show you something." He said smoothly as I followed him not to willingly but not being forced either. Seth better follow me because I really didn't trust this guy.

I watched Katrina being lead down the hall by the guy and I narrowed my eyes, scared he might try something. Slowly I followed them, keeping a distance but able to run in and save her if I needed to.

He smirked and lead me into the cafeteria before shoving me down in a chair and hopping up on one of the tables. People turned to look and I looked at him creeped out and shocked. He had a cocky look on his face. "So Katrina Call, will you go to prom with me."

I looked at him, my jaw dropped. I was tongue twisted...not to sure what to say.

I followed them, kinda surprised he was taking her to the cafeteria. I watched as he pushed her down, and was about to go up to him--that was before he climbed up onto the table. I stood there shocked as he asked Katrina to prom. Was he joking????

He stared down at me. "WELL!?!" He asked annoyed that I wasn't replying right away. Several people had already started to laugh. I gulped nervously.

"I'm kind of already going with someone...already.."I said not to sure what so say. He glared at hopped down.

"WHAT?" He demanded angrily.

That's when I decided to act, and I made my move, walking toward them. I pulled Katrina up muttering, "Come on, let's go." Justin didn't exactly look to happy and I wanted to get away before he did something.

Justin glared and grabbed my other arm. "I DOnt think so." He hissed angrily as he towered over Seth. The weird thing was, Seth was really tall, but he was taller. Made no sense to me because werewolves were always taller than humans. "I'm not done talking to her yet Clearwater.

My instincts turned on there. I glared and stepped forward between his and Katrina. "I don't think so. She turned you down, Shepherd. Get over it."

He glared. "We're not over Clearwater, you'll regret this. I will get you back." He said darkly as Seth started to pull me along out of the cafeteria because I was just standing there shocked and not to sure how to react.

"Yeah whatever Shepherd.' I muttered, pulling Trina away from a him. I lead her out into the hall and rolled my eyes. "He's mental..."

I laughed nervously and leaned up and kissed him lightly. "Thanks for helping me out." I muttered. I heard someone snort sarcastically and I turned around to see Justin. "And for your information Seth could take you on any day." I added.
