I tried REALLY hard not to laugh at that, so I just ended up smirking widely. "Oh, sweet naive innocent Katrina... haha."

I punched his arm. "Not funny...I was serious." I grinned happily hopping out of the car now and heading for the back door to the hospital. "You can stay in the car..."

"Not a chance." I muttered, getting out. "Come on... let's slip through the back. There's too many people at the front." I took her arm and dragged her around the building side, to the back entrance.

"Fine." I said dismissively. Stupid butthead. "Ow stop dragging me...i'm not your pet dog out on a walk. " I glared but then smiling when I saw Ken walking towards us. "Hi!" my voice was full of excitement to see him again.

I glared at the dude but shrugged it off. "Just make it quick..." I muttered to her.

"Back so soon?" Ken asked, smirking as he watched Katrina walk up to him.

"I have ways of convincing people. " I said with a grin. "Blackmailing comes in handy...so you okay?" I asked worriedly touching his arm.

Ken gave a small laugh and glanced up at Paul. He turned back to Katrina though just as quickly and smiled. Patting her cheek lightly, Ken nodded. "I'm fine, Miss Call... really thank you, but there is no reason to worry."

"Yeah but my brother broke your jaw...or something like that. Usually that freaking kills." I bit my lip rolling my eyes when Paul strode over.

"Well, yes it does..." Ken laughed, nodding again. "But it's nothing to serious. In other words I'm going to be just fine- you were hurt." Ken suddenly stopped and dropped his smile. He had looked at Paul who was just coming up now and narrowed his eyes.

I stood behind Trina and raised my eyebrows as the dude looked at me. "What the heck are you talking about?"

"The side... your abdomen... it was a large gash, 10 minutes ago." the doctor said, narrowing his eyes and my wound. It looked much better now... just bloody. If it was possible, I think my face paled.

"What are you talking about?? No it wasn't...." I said quickly, pretending like it was crazy to even think that.

"No. I am pretty sure it was." Ken said stiffly, narrowing his eyes. "When you got into a fight with her brother. You came back bleeding. There was a gash. I'm certain of it."

I rolled my eyes. "That's absurd."

"No it's not... not for some at least. And I was pretty certain that group of people didn't exist around here." The doctor tilted his head ever so slightly and gave me a look. Like he knew something.

I glared back, and finally saw something I hadn't really seen before. I didn't like this dude at all. There was something about him... something about the way he looked at me...

"I have no idea what your talking about, weirdo. But I don't exactly have time to listen to crap. So- BYE." I rolled my eyes and grabbed Katrina's arm tightly. "Let's go- we're leaving. NOW."

"Let.me.go." Gritting my teeth I spat out my words angrily. I raised my eyebrows and twisting my body to glower at Paul. Why did guys have to such annoying buttheads all the time...24/7. It made me want to rip their toenails and fingernails off.

((LOL U have no idea how hard it was for me not to use the words "Oi", "Prat" and "Git"... BUT THEY ARE BRITISH WORDS! THIS IS AMERICAN!!))

I ignored her and tightened my grip as I dragged her over to the car. I pushed her into the back seat and locked the doors with the keys, before slipping in the front. "Just shut up will you???"

"What the hell is your problem? There was nothing wrong with him!" I said acidly. "Seriously stop freaking out on me and him. "

I ignored her, and continued down the road, facing straight ahead.

I scowled slouching in my chair as I mentally cursed the entire male population that had ever walked or will walk the face of the planet. "What the hell Paul? Seriously what was so wrong with him?"

"I saw the way he was looking at you!" I said randomly. "Yeah, Embry was right. He's a jerk. So- stay away from him." I started speeding down the road. Only a couple more minutes...

I sulked, sticking my feet up on the dashboard and feeling very wounded harpyish right now. I totally know what it was like to be Leah right now. "You a jerk."

"Yeah, whatever." I muttered, pulling up into their driveway. I got out of the car and unlocked the doors. "Come on..."

"Seriously what is with you? He says one little thing and you start acting super super weird. Like he read your mind or you read his..." I stalked after him. "And I'm so going to tell Embry you were a jerk to me. And he'll woop your ass."

"Wtf Katrina??" I asked, throwing the keys onto the front table. "I took you back!!! We had a deal. So keep it."

"Well it's not a deal if you drag me out two seconds later," crossing my arms over my chest and scowling like a three year having a temper tantrum I tried to plead my case. "Seriously it doesn't count so you started it first."

"Dude, I was just protecting you. Seriously that guy is bad news." I marched of into the kitchen and grabbed a bag of chips. "Look, you can go back with Embry if you really wanna." Pff, like I was gonna let that happen. Hopefully it would shut her up.

"Get the hell out of my house right now." I said snatching the bag from him. "We're not an all you can eat 24/7 buffet. Food cost's money...and we seriously buy enough food to fill a barn already...I don't want us to have to buy enough food to fill a warehouse." Trying to push him out and towards Embry's car didn't seem to be working...he was just to damn heavy.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the chips from her. It was too easy, and once I had it, I sat myself right down on the couch. "Yeah whatever."

"I'm going to go call Embry." I said heading towards the phone. "And he'll kick you out once I tell him you raided our kitchen." The dial tone sounded as I stood there impatiently waiting for him to pick up the phone. Where the hell was he?

I jumped up and grabbed the phone from her. "Hey! He'll be back in a second!!! God, just calm down. Come on, let's go watch TV...." I took her arm and started dragging her to the living room with a roll of my eyes.
